Both projects below are grid-forming installations that provide peak shaving, frequency regulation and emergency backup, easing grid pressure and improving renewable energy consumption.
Zhoushan, Zhejiang. Grid-side energy storage adjacent to the 110 kV Qiji substation, configured in 5 MW / 10 MWh units. A grid-forming project with 3× 10-second overload capability, providing peak shaving, frequency regulation and emergency backup. Commissioning scheduled for October 2026.
Zhoushan, Zhejiang. Grid-side energy storage next to the 35 kV Lujiazhui substation, configured in 2.5 MW / 5 MWh units and commissioned in June 2026, providing multiple ancillary services.
